my domain name is www.surfingroadtrip.com This is difficult to explain but I'll do my best. My website contains lots of different webpages but a lot of them contain the same information. This means that if I want to update some of the info on one page I'll have to update that same info on another ten or twelve pages which would be a lot of work. Is there any way of updating one peice of info, which in turn updates all the relevant pages with that info? Kind of like excel. Is this possible or not? If so plse help!! Would save me hours of work!!!!! |

Yes.. same way as the single menu page, just make a php include. HOWEVER, why do you want so much duplicate INFO on other pages other than a menu or header? Karen

Sorry, I don't quite understand what I have to do? The reason for the duplication of info is because the site gives people going on road trips in South Africa the information on the best places to go. So If they go to the page showing Cape Town to Durban for example, certain information is shown. If they go to a different page from Cape Town to East London, another page of information is shown. But Cape Town is shown twice on both pages. What i want is to change the info on Cape Town(for example) once, and it will automatically change on all the other pages. Does that make sense? Maybe if you see the site it'll explain better. |

Ok.. still use the single menu method.. just put your info in a php include and call it to the page. http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/blu...ge-bv-php.html Karen

Hi Karen, I think i'm more confused from that thread you showed me. I read what other people were asking and it threw me off. So, as you know, its my text that I want to change in the future, so on that menu page that I must create, do I put all my text that I might change on there? And then, on my regular pages that people see, do I leave the text on there or delete it and only put that html box? Really confused |
