Thread: One Page Doesn't Match

When looking through my site, which is still in the making. Sometimes one page doesn't look the same online as it does on Blue Voda. What is going one here? It is supposed to match www.ricklesranch.com/application.html in style, just different text etc. but it looks distorted. Sometimes it looks OK, sometimes it doesn't. Right now it looks OK on my computer but distorted on my phone. I am doing something wrong? www.ricklesranch.com/happytails.html

OK, you'll need a General to explain exactly what you have to do but I just wanted to tell you that on "Happy Tails" the image above Daisy, which is in red is distorted. When I click on properties I see that with Dollie the gif is 561x36 but with Daisy it WAS 113x120 & it has been "scaled" to 561x36. This may have something to do with it?? (I'm on FF)

Your phone screen is much much smaller to start with. If you have resized any images by dragging them with the handles in bv, the browser on your phone may not be able to do the same proportions. .. therefore looks distorted, you may want to do a seperate version for mobile fones.

Thanks for your input. I must have been confusing. What I meant was; it looks wierd sometimes regardless of what computer or phone I am using. Even the pc's at work do this. Do I need to make the pictures the size I want them before I put them on the site in bv? I had someone check out the site somewhere else and she couldn't see any bones on the home (index) page. I put a bone on every link to the other pages within this site. She only saw the writing. I did the same thing with the bone. Copied a large image and made it smaller in bv. Some of the other distortions are color. I have yellow headers to the blocks of writing on all of the pages (except the first one) but right after I read my comments on this post, www.ricklesranch.com/happytails.html had a red header instead of yellow, and the writing in the box was so skewed that it could not be read at all. Sometimes, there is distorted writing in places where I didn't put any writing. Help me please!!
