Default How do you add "Search" to website?

I am building a new website and the customer wants viewers to be able
to "search" for previous articles on the site. I am not sure how to do this?
    Help! Thanks for all suggestions/help.

    Hi,
I use www.freefind.com for my search box, it's really easy and they send you search results so you can see what search terms are being search on your site. Hope this helps.

Also, I don't know if you have any ideas on this.......
...A new site that is actually a rental site for condos.....
I need to be able to search for properties using different perameters.......
    i.e. 1 bed/1bath/ocean front/$100-$200 per night as an example

How would you enable a search such as this??? Any Ideas?
