website being picked up by google?

I have had my website up for about 5 days and it still is not listed in google yet. How long does Google take before it picks up new websites?

Hi,

Google and other bots has already index your signature.
You have to insert a whole lot of tags which is relevant to anybody searching for "scents".

Go thru all the Google search page results which appeaed. You may be on page 10, or 50 or 150. depending how google rate your site out of the few hundred millions the Google Bots index pages daily.

It varies. I've known with sites I've done it can take a couple of days, others a couple of weeks and I think one took 2 months, which was worrying. It depends on how often they send their crawlers out and what info they can read from your site.

There aint any guarantees for an instant listing but may help expediate things.
