Default Admin | Login | Sign-up Problems

Hi could anyone point me in the direction of tutorials for the new password, admin and sign-up features.

I have played around with all areas and not really sure what im doing!
Its not as simple as placing the boxes on a page and uploading.
I have also double clicked on the box/s to bring the various options up, create database e.t.c, but to no avail!

Could anyone show a step-by-step way to do this?
I thought maybe when i clicked "create database" it would create a database. I checked on CP/mysql to see and it didn`t so i have created a DB ans users etc, but cant see where to go now??!!

A little confused, but well chuffed with BV 11.4

you are supose to create a database in phpsql and then you need to name each column with what you want a user to have in there information, it is best for you to also add an id column with PRIMARY and autocremy(or something that looks like that in the drop down) and then add a username column, password column and you know anything else you want the user to have.

Whoooa!

That seems very very confusing to me?!

I really do appreciate your help, but this maybe out of my learning zone via forum. Do you know of any video tutorials for this? As i have searched everywhere for one.

Basically when i add a sign up box, i double click and have the option to create database and the php file it suggests to write is usersdb.php (thats on admin, sign-up, login and etc) surely you should not use the same usersdb.php for everything as it would overwrite the previous one!

The usersdb.php also wants to save in the .Cpanel folder/directory, is this write? I dont understand how to link the box with my database!

Sorry for the confusion......But i love learning :)

Well for 1 i don't know any video tutorials, 2 i learned how to create a user/pass by myself so i really didn't need 2 do all that all i had 2 do was create a login form and use phpmyadmin to create a sign-up/login page, there is really no need for an admin page, i never made one i edit it all from the database
