Hi, im a vodahost customer and for nearly 2 years now ive been running a static webpage for my fishing club. now ive found wordpress and am building my pages with that so i would like to de publish my old pages and make my wordpress site the home or index for the site. how would i go about de publishing my old index page and changing my new wordpress site to my new home page (index)? wordpress site HERE old homepage HERE although i built and published a very basic site im still a newbie as far as all this is concerned so please be aware your dealing with a 42 year old child when it comes to this lol also apologies if i put this in the wrong section. thanks in advance |

If you ran your website for nearly two years, you must have followers that visit your website. My suggestion is to 1. Keep your static website. Once in a while, update it with new content. 2. Continue writing for your blog. 3. Have a two-way link between both your sites. 4. Instead of popups, just have regular page-links with target as blank - nothing in it. So your visitor can go back and forth between your sites with ease. |
