BV 11 IS SITLL A BETA VERSION (they said that to me)
So to put a login and pass you must do that in the cpanel
See the icon protect folders and its easy

thank you for your response rsusano. I managed to be able to password protect the actual website. but im trying to place a login/password area within my actual site. the same type as having to login and provide a password to enter the vodahost forum. is this anything to do with MySQL?.

Not yet. As I said BV is a beta version and the login box still does not works.
So..you can wait for the definitive version or aplly the login/Pass from cpanel.
