Thread: ftp problem

My ftp manager is non responsive. When i connect the manager does it's thing until i see 150 accepted data connection and then nothing. I have to go to the task manager to end the program. the manager behaved like this from about 2 pm yesterday till about 8 am this morning. Suddenly it started working and then went non responsive again at about 2 pm today. I have check viruses, cleaned the registry and disabled firewalls and still nothing. Please help - without my files I can forget about publishing my site.

Do you have a hosting account with VodaHost?

When you signup and your website installed in cpanel under your domain name an FTP account was also created in cpanel.

The FTP in BV can only be used for this account.

If you do not have a VH account you can obtain free FTP from the net.

If you have a VH account, download the latest BV 11.4G and reinstall.

Thanks, I do have an account and it is now 7:45 am and the manager is working again.I redownloaded the 11.4. Will see what happens at 2pm.

Are you trying to publish to the server or download from the server?

hi i was trying to publish to the server - this prob has sorted itself out now thanks. now my login info has not been recognized even though my email and password were just sent to me again.

Make sure that you select the correct IP#
To publish you must use the "Publish" icon on the web builder. Using the FTP to load .bvp pages will not work properly.
