Re-Download BV. You are quite likely on one of the new servers & need to re-populate the ip list
Dont worry about your files as this wont harm any existing work assuming you was using BV 11 before. If you was on the old BV10? You may have to put some images back on your page.

I would uninstall your current BV and then install your new downloaded version. None of your files will be lost.

Save your home page as index - all lower case letters. This is the first page the internet looks for when looking for your site

Do your BV page names match your links??

    eg

    If I create a BV page aboutus.bvp

The correct link would be http://www.mysite.com/aboutus.html

The bit in red has to be exactly the same.

Avoid spaces between words, use _ underscores to seperate words.
Avoid UPPER case letters. Good habit to use lower case.

    I've just had another look

your domain is http://www.12theelms.com/, yet your links have www.templetons.co.za in them. Here lies your problem I should think??

    HI Darren

OK i have gone back and double checked everything all is in order so why wont the pages open in my website www.12theelms.com home page is cool but its the other ones that wont.

I dont know if this is effecting it but when i click on my other pages buttons
(the titles for my other pages on my home page..forget what its called) anyway when i click the button then properties then add it asks for a title of the page i want what should i call it? and could that be the problem as i have named it the name of the button but with a Capitol first letter.

am getting so frustrated thank you for taking the time!

Kate it looks like you have been correcting the links on your navigation but you haven't on your home page, hence your confusion!!

Sort out your Nav bar with the correct links then copy and paste to each page. If you leave pages out then you'll be in the same old pickle.

Ahh i am going to cry!! ok breath........ is the nav bar the place at the top of your browser where you type in your address? if so i realise it is typing in my original address www.templetons.co.za However i have done what you have said and i have changed them by clicking on the buttons in my blue voda page and clicking edit...then i have typed in the correct one www.12theelms.com/index.html (for example) and saved! however when i publish it and then open the main page...my homepage comes up but it says page not found when i click on the buttons (eg. accommodation) but the old address is still there.

please just tell me to push off if i am driving you nuts! i am sorry!
if you are a techno genius cant i give you permission to remote my computer somehow and you can see for yourself!?

    Thanks
    Kate :(

Kate you can do this yourself honestly......lol....You just need to slow down and think logically.

The navigation menu is what you made to enable your visitor to link to your other pages.

When you create a nav menu for the first time it has to be spot on because if a mistake is made here you have to correct it for every page you have this menu on.

What I suggested earlier is to open a page and redo your nav menu with the correct links. When you are satisfied they are correct, you copy and paste your nav bar to every page and then publish each one

There is another way which i personally find easier and Naval Design has provided step by step details on how to use it
