Thread: Accessing the folder public_html

Hi,

Is it possible to prevent the access to the public_html folder of my web site when the index.html does not exist?
I am asking because when I deleted the index.html from the public_html folder then I could see the contents of all folders using my web browser.

Yes, through your CPanel. LAst Section, Advanced, Index Manager -> Select the folder (public_html) and select "No Indexing"

Pls note that this work on a per folder basis.
