Thread: scrollbars

My question is:How do i avoid the scrollbars on pages which have got little information.I don't want people scrolling down when there is little information on the page.For example take a look at the page Research or News which is under.
I'll appreciate any solutions.Thank you all.

Having a shorter page will eliminate the scroll bars in some browsers. But remember that some browsers auto add & remove scroll bars as needed & this will give the impression of the page jumping from left to right by 20px on page transitions. Usualy best to have the page long enough to always have a scroll bar.
