i was looking on googl*** about url submissions and it mentioned to use ":///" instead of "://" after the http when submitting your site.
what does the third "/" represent?

Was it from a post made on 1st April by any chance?
The only time you use a third / is at the end of your url. Submitting a link anywhere and using /on the end of your domain. i.e. yourwebsite. com/ is a good thing to do as long as you are not pointing to just one page, but a website.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
nay on the april 1st post.....
the question was because of a googl*** read i was on. it said;
ad a third hash when submitting a url for crawling
example (http:///blablabla.co#)
i was just wandering what the extra hash mark meant.
thanx for the reply

just ignore...I have never heard of such thing...I would go with the above April 1 theory.
