Thread: Publishing problem after changing computer

HI ALL.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW COMPUTER WHICH RUNS WINDOWS 7. I TRANSFERED ALL BY BLUEVODA DOCUMENTS AND PROGRAM VIA AN EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE. THE ISSUES ARE:
1. THE WEBSITE APPEARS AND WORKS OKAY WHEN YOU CLICK INTO IT ON INTERNET EXPLORER.
2. I GO INTO THE BLUEVODA PROGRAM AND GO TO UPDATE A PAGE. ALL THE IMAGES ARE MISSING ( THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE BLUEVODA PROGRAM FILE)
3. I MAKE CHANGES AND THE "PUBLISH SUCCESFUL" BOX SHOWS WHEN COMPLETED.
4. I GO TO THE WEBSITE AND THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGES.

I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES AND STILL NO CHANGES. ALL THE PAGES AND PROGRAM FILES, INCLUDING THE IMAGES ARE ON THE NEW COMPUTER.

1. Thats good.
2. The images appear missing because the image source has been changed (path has been broke). Either restablish the path or go through your BV Pages and double click the missing images and reinsert them from their new location.
3. Thats good...Are you publising 'all files' though?
4. Could be a caching issue. When you view these pages, press F5 to render the most recent version,

I tried fixing the problem as you suggested, however, after completing the page I attempt to publish and wikll not publish I get "not responding"issue. I have Version 11.4.

I am not 100% sure what to suggest as you said you were publishing OK earlier. Perhaps you are having a 'timeout' issue due to a large image or something. You can alter your time out settings by clicking on Tools > Options> Then click on the 'Publish' tab to increase it.
