Thread: Reload Bluevoda lost website fonts

Had to reload BV due to computer issues. Opened website pages to do some editing and the Bodoni font is not available like it was before. Consequently, each page has changed to Ariel font and the layout is messed up. Need to know if this was a corrupt download or is Bodoni no longer available? I've only used BV for 1.5 months. Is it possible it changed since then? Thoughts?

BV only knows the fonts that are on your computer. FWIW, Bodoni is not a web friendly font and will not show correctly on computers without Bodoni installed.

So when the OS was reloaded, whatever fonts I had before were lost...hmmm. I know I saw a thread about web-friendly fonts and will take another look at it and just convert the fonts. Thanks for clarifying for me. I really appreciate it. BTW, the site is www.affordable-vetclinic.com so thanks for your response even though I didn't have the site listed.

You have some overlapping elements viewed in FireFox on my computer. It's possible that somewhere along the line that you added Bodoni and just forgot about it.

Carbon Terry, would you look at the site one more time, please? I made the font changes last night and from my firefox it looks fine now. In the end, it's better it worked out this way b/c I didn't know about the "web-friendly" fonts...now I do, now I am brilliant :). Thanks!

Have you enabled "Center in Browser" in your page properties?
What page width have you set?

No, I have not centered and the page widths are 1100, except for the form page, which is 1169.

1100 is V E R Y W I D E.
Most users will have to scroll horizontally. That's considered to be very inconvenient and many users will leave your site right away.
