Thread: members only site

I want to start a members only site I have built the site but need to add to this a members database, which I am having trouble with.
My question is does blue voda have a template site for this in mind or do I need to build this from scratch....

BV has a simple login script that will allow you to create a member's only website. You don't need a particular template as the login tools will create the necessary forms in your own pages.

Pls note that this script is not Database driven, as it uses a flat file to store the member's details.

As I said, it is a rather simple, basic script, you might want to search for something more complete, especially if you have paid for access (memberships).

Glad I found this thread. I have a BIG problem. In another thread I have been waiting for a reply from Vodahost and this was it:
1) We do not operate a domain whiltelist or blacklist.
2) We will not disable any security feature.
That's it!
The request from me via SentryLogin (which was recommended by a Vodahost Forum member as used by him) reads:I've been advised that "Mod_ssl" or "Mod_security" feature additions are preventing and causing problems with my attempt at id and password logins. I am about to add a subscription website (profitablepunting.com) but login has failed due to the above features apparently. I've been asked and advised to request the following: "Contact your webhost and have them add Sentrylogin.com and Shawncorp.com to its acceptable domains (whitelist) or otherwise disable the Mod. Also tell them to add your own domain to the whitelist as well (that way the Log Out link will work properly without interference by the Mod either)."
Can you or do you know of someone who can help me with a system that is Vodahost friendly?
