    Red face uploading PDF files

I should be grateful if some-one could help me with uploading a PDF file.(funrunresults2010)
    I have:
    entered File Manager
Clicked on 'go' for 'Webroot' for my domain name name - www.whiterabitdesigns.co.uk
    Clicked 'Upload'
    Browsed
    Selected a PDF file (funrunresults2010)
    Clicked on 'back to html'
Have tried to drag and drop the file into my add-on domain - newtonaycliffeac
but get a message 'Destination and source the same'
Tried instead to move file by highlighting it and clicking 'Move'
    typed newtonaycliffeac as the destination.
Fille seemed to move but when I try
    www.newtonaycliffeac.org.uk/funrunresults2020.pdf
    and
    www.whiterabbitdesigns.co.uk/funrunresults2020.pdf
I get a broken link message

I'm probably not doing something very simple! But would welcome some help, please!

    In your BV Web Builder:
    Tools/FTP Manager
Click on "Connect" (upper left hand corner)
    Enter publishing password/username/correct IP#
Make sure that you are in the public_html (unless you are publishing to an addon domain upon which the addon domain folder will have to be opened)
Drag the file from the left hand side of the window (your files)
To the right hand side of the window
(Note: this will not work if the file is currently open)
The link you noted above will be the correct format.

Thanks very much, Terry. Hadn't realised I had to go through bv web builder and not Control Panel.
Explains why I couldn't see the 'Connect' button!
    Thanks again,
    Richard

You can do this through the CPanel but I find it much easier going thru the BV FTP Manager.
