Thread: Updates to Home Page not Showing

This is a bit weird. I updated my home page to link to a newly created article but it does not show, just white space where the copy and pics should be? I have emptied the cache, published and re-published. I would appreciate it if someone could have a look and let me know if it shows up in your browser. It (the missing bit) is in the top RH corner of my home page entitled Work

how about from FTP , the image from left Move or Copy to right ?


or try to do this . . .
at BV. go to Edit > Select All > Copy > Cut > Paste > Save > Publish All

thanks WSBlue Brigadier. I just tried your tip. Didn't work. I do not understand this. I have done nothing different than I have been doing for the past few years yet it just doesn't show. I think I will rebuild the home page from scratch and see what happens. Thanks for your imput

Re-name the image with something short with no spaces or symbols.
Make sure it is a jpeg, gif, or png.
Re-Publish.
FWIW, if you go here, you can analyze your website load times.
You load time is not short.

I scrolled out as far as I could and this is how your site appears on my 19" monitor.
There are problems as you can see. There was more content off screen.

Thanks Carbon Terry. I found the mirror image when I previewed in the browser. Do you have any advice on how to fix?

All of my images are jpegs and have short names EX 'cash' mother-baby' etc

What is the name of the missing image.
You can always ftp the image.

If you made this page with BV do a "Control A" and physically delete the dup content.

Have you followed my suggestion about the website analyzer?

I published a back-up home page till I work out why I am having these problems. And yes, I am looking at the web site analyzer, thank you so much. I still have issues with my index page but just decided to put up a page that works. I don't know why I am getting the mirror image but I will work on it.
