Thread: Database with BlueVoda?

Hi, I am new here and I want to start making my first Website.

My Question is: can I make a Database on my website with Bluevoda, so that visitors can use it? The idea is quite simple: On one of the pages a visitor will click on an item in a list and a new page will appear with the description of that item along with some pictures.

Right now I only need to know if BlueVoda is the right webbuilder, so I can get started building my website.

What you are describing is quite possible with BV & easy to do, but not a true data base. A true database will give you the facility of being able to search for things when entering a certain criteria. IE: if it was clothes, you could search for just a certain size or colour to make it more flexible for the visitor. For this type of database, BV will not do this unless you have a script written for your needs or by purchasing an off the shelf script that you could use on the VH servers.
