Thread: Need to make Slide Show for pictures

Hi All,

I am a photographer and i am building my site on BV, however I cant find the option to make a slide show of my pictures on the main page, I have noted the light box and Gallery, however what I want is like a slide show of my pictures where I can contorl the motions and timmings and it has to turn on automatically as the home page is loaded.. Please guide me how to,, i am new to BV..

I also tried Rollover, but there is no control of picutures size and also it does not work well!

thanks for the replies, however my problem is the steps to integrate the flash files in BV. can someone guide me the steps and options used to avail the outcome?

Jay...the link I gave you does come with instructions with whatever you choose and no doubt Davids does too.

Where are you at with this? Have you hit a problem somewhere? With these things you have to experiment and attempt to fathem it out. Have a play around, You won't break anything. When you get really stuck to the point of pulling your hair out, tell us where you are at.

Create your flash file using the program of your choice (those by ahimsa and darren are good choices) and save it. In Bluevoda go to insert\advanced\flash. A box appears on your page, double click on it and in the movie option, browse and locate the flash file you created and saved earlier. Choose other desired options and then hit ok. Now place the box exactly where you want it on the page....and that's it. Good luck.
