Thread: Opening multiple pages at once in BV

HI,

how can I open multiple pages in BlueVoda program that I would like to modify?

Classical multiple selection and Open click does not do it.

Open them one by one. The pages will remain open so you can work from one to the other by selecting the page name tag.

thanks for your advice but that is actually the problem - I don't want to open 50 pages one by one every time. how can I open all of them at once?

You are being unreasonable no program can open 50 pages all at once.

Even with largest screen available you cant preview 50 pages all at once unless you can afford to buy 50 display panels and write a special program to enable the different pages to open in each of the panels.

Dont ask unreasonable questions please!

You are not being unreasonable, however with Bluevoda you do have to open their containing folder and individually select each page you want to work on. Other software, does work in the same or similar way, the only difference is you may see a site tree on the builder. You still have to double click to each page to access them, but less faffy perhaps?

You can speed the process up a little bit by resizing the folder window so it shows all fifty pages (for instance) and use the Ctrl O key combo. I fully agree it would be great if BV would fix this.

In fact you can open multiple pages at once. (at least on my computer)
Open the BV software to a blank page.
Open your BlueVoda folder (not thru the web builder software but as you would open any folder)
Control click on the pages you want to open
Right click on one of the highlighted pages and select "Open"
On my computer all pages will open in the BV software at once.

I got tired of opening pages one at a time. Other software operates the same way so I figured I'd give it a try.

OK, I was just able to get to my BV computer and try this out. This is a HUGE time saver and needs to be put in whatever lists of tips we have around here.
