Thread: Site publishes but it's not there

OK - I set up my add on domain.
I put the page in a folder for that domain.
I published it with the new domain name at the end of the "public" line.
It says it published.
It's not online!

Any suggestions????
What am I missing?????

How about a URL of the site, and a link/URL of a page you published so we can see ourselves?

(Been waiting a looooong time for a reply! LOL! Have to learn to "go out" from the thread and to "come back" to see a truly 'refreshed' version!)

So .... just to verify ....

1. You created your Add-On Domain from within your Control Panel;
2. You created and SAVED your new page from within Blue Voda, by first Creating a New Folder, and then saving that new page to that new folder in BV;
3. You then PUBLISHED your new page from within Blue Voda, adding properly : public_html/newdomainname
4. You got a "Successful" PUBLISH message after the above process;
5. Now you can't see your page??

Did you refresh your browser to load the new page version?
Are you following the proper URL? (If it was your index page, merely go to http://www.NewDomainName.com to see your new page. If it was another, http://www.NewDomainName.com/other-page.html )

I'd still like to see a live URL to explore myself ...

So far, I only have one page for the domain. I have another site and one other add on domain I set up a few years ago. I'm sure I'm missing something stupid, but it's been so long since I did the others that I can't remember.

Did you remember to point it to your VodaHost hosting account??? (I find that the domain you named is still without any DNS settings/Namserver assignment .... since you purchased it via VodaHost, you will make this configuration also from within your Control Panel ... review the Tutorial >> http://www.vodahost.com/demowolf/x3/...-x3-addon.html )

PS: You apparently purchased it on the 20th .... give it 24 hours to be associated to your account, Good Lady! My, My! Do the DNS settings and be a LITTLE patiernt!

Yes, that's great. Now you have to tell the Add-On Domain where to find the account, where to find the website to show the world.

By the time you set the Domain's Nameservers according to the Tutorial, I am confident that when you get back home tonight your page should be resolved and live ... Patience!

I watched the video. It's set up right according to the video. It's still not up and running. Any other ideas?
