Post hyperlinking a portion of the index

    hi
it may be a stupid question: is there a way to have a link pointing to a part of the index. If the index would be a sort of newspaper, I would like to link just one article and send via mail.

    thank you

You might be able to use the script on this page, but add a bookmark to the area of the page where the link will go to.
Click on the link on the page & see if it brings up your mail box.

    thanks,
a bookmarked area where the link will go to would be the best. Any hints for this issue?

ok I meant: http://myadddomainame.org/index.php#bookmarkname = get the index at the very top instead of the bottom where the bookmark is positioned.
ps.Bookmark linked in the same page works perfectly

I tried the "*****-code"above described..very cool ,works fine for "send this article to your frends" option. But the bookmark problems is about the area where the bmrk is positioned:it got the page but seems the #bookmarkname is not read by the firefox. So just got the page.. Tried many many pages and the same result.. browser problem?
    thanks

Have you republished the index page with the new bookmark?

yes. But a "go to the #top" book mark and's working perfectly.Than I bookmarked a inner page linked from the index and in spite of the position I got the top instead of the middle.Tried changing bkmk name, using tables for the text, positionig in several positions tool but nothing...
I'd need a bookmarked links to be sent by mail to a mailinglist, each link openig a specific article of newpaper the index is made of.

hi. solved the problem! I gess the problem was that I spead a little bit the area using the bookmark tool.. not doing so everything is working fine.
positionig the area at the top of the portion gets the right place.

    thank you
