Hi, I have created several pages on my website and on all of them there are 'click here to send email links'. When I click on one of these links during a preview or in fact on a live version, all is fine - my email programme (OE) pops up and alows me to send a test message. However when a friend trys the same, he gets errors relating to POP3, as his email client isn't OE, he uses Tiscali. is there a way to set this up so that whatever the users email programme is there is no problems in sending email just by clicking on any of my links. or is there any other way of my users to send me mail?? many thanks |

Users should have configured there browsers correctly to make this feature work. In Internet Explorer select Tools->Internet Options from the menu. Then select the Programs tab and change the E-Mail field to your favorite email application. If the email client is MAPI compatible it should work without any problem. Note that this is not a BlueVoda feature or bug, but it's just the way the Microsoft decided it should be done.
