Thread: Publishing delay and centering issue

My site address is " pwaofms.org ". The problem does not seem to be publishing, as that address does lead to the "Under Construction" page I created with BlueVoda. Rather, there seems to be a delay of more than six hours between a successful publish attempt, and the site actually being changed.

Is this delay normal?

Also, from within BlueVoda, I changed the centering and the background color. The site preview feature shows exactly what I hoped (love BlueVoda - so easy to use), but even after a "successful" publish attempt and an overnight wait for the changes, nothing was different.

Things I have tried so far are:
1) Checked my publishing information to verify ip address was correct
2) Ran CCleaner four times and reloaded my browser
3) Invented a series of new expletives

None of these had any effect. Advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. The site that you see when you enter " pwaofms.org " into your browser is not what should be seen. The centered version also has a gray background color. The main issue is in the publishing of changes. Somewhere between me clicking "Publish" and checking in my browser to confirm that it did publish correctly, something happens.

Either the changes take hours to take effect, or they do not appear at all. This can't be right.

Anyone? This problem is delaying the launch of this business site.

Hi, just a quick check.
1. I assume you are publishing to the IP 174.36.95.2
2. You have the publishing area set to publish all files.
3. You are saving before you publish.

I had not been saving before publishing. I just did that, and will give it till morning to see if it has worked this time.

The other things I have been doing. Here's hoping it was something as simple as the save thing!

Changes should normally be instantaneously after the publish button is clicked..

They are not, and have not been since I started.
Also, the save idea did not work.
