Thread: russian language

Hi I am trying to put some Russian language text on my site

I followed the instructions and clicked the unicode box in tools

I can now build the page in Russian but when I go to preview it changes all text to junk characters

Also when I publish it does the same thing



I built a site in an older release of Blue Voda some time ago and this problem did not occur


Any ideas anyone

For anyone with a similar problem


1. go to tools

2.click options,

2a. click enable unicode

4. close

5.go to a blank blue Voda page or page you are working on

6.right click

7. open page properties

8. open the language settings

9.choose UTF-8


You must do both steps or it wont work.


Hope this helps ,,and I use blue Voda because I want to sell stuff not build websites,,

I wish experienced users would take this into account when giving advice,,

Never assume we know anything.


One click or one step omitted causes big problems to a dummy like me and I just lost a days work trying to solve this because the second step was omitted.
