Thread: HTML Element displaying text only...HELP!

I have used the HTML element a lot on my sites. I've never ran into this kind of a problem - I create the element box, type in the code (of which I have double-checked many, many times) and when I go to preview it just shows the HTML code instead of displaying what is written.

I've embedded music and other files this way - in fact, the code that I entered had been done on this particular site before (within the last 24hrs.) I've tried doing the simplest codes and all I get, preview and published, is a display of text...nothing but text...

HELP!
