Thread: Sellers submit info direct to site ???

Hi,

We are building a new site which allows anyone to post their ads for free. They will need to put in pictures, descriptions, etc and then submit live to the site. Buyers will have free access to 90% of the content except for details such as the sellers contact details and anything else we feel is valued information. This will enable buyers to surf the site and find what they want before paying a small subscription fee to have full access to the site for a given period.

Our first site just was just a case of creating and then linking the pages. For this we will need the sellers to upload direct to the site. If they were to mail us the details and we manually submitted them , if the site was busy it would fall apart under the admin! It will not be too difficult handling buyers as they are just looking at the site.

Does anyone have any ideas if we will be able to build this using Blue Voda or is it more technical?

I guess dating sites work in a similar way, with new members posting up their details for free and then 'buyers' surfing the members till they get someone they like and then sign up for all the contact details. Our site isn't dating but would follow a similar phscycology and therefore structure.

Any help with how we can do this or pointers to how we can build the site will be massively appreciated.

Sellers will need to be able to have access to their info' so they can add to or change it and let buyers know when items have sold as transactions between buyer and seller will take place privately and not online.

Any ideas or help would be great as we have mapped out the site on paper and done the art work but want to put the site together right from the begining.
