Thread: No verification email being sent

We have a membership site (www.wizegirls.com) New members are unable to finish signing up for our membership page (http://www.wizegirls.com/amember/signup.php), we use amember software, which is not sending a verification email to the supplied email during sign up. The software goes to the "Please check your email - verification email message has been just emailed to you. Once you receive this message, read this and follow instructions in this email to complete your subscription." but then no email is received. I have tried to sign up myself as have a few others, all with the same result. I have contacted amember support and their response is
"Hi,
your Amember is configured to use php mail function.
It means that mail send by your server.
If you do not receive verification email even if signup from different computers then please check spam folder of your email account.
This is more possible reason.
Also you can send test email to your address.
And to fix this issue please ask hosting support to add SPF record to your domain or use any other remote smtp server, for example gmail."

Please help, we are loosing customers!

You have a form on your site: http://www.wizegirls.com/coaching.php

Try sending an email to yourself from this form and see if you are receiving it.

If yes, then it is not a problem of the way mails are sent, as the BV forms send emails through mail().

EDIT: I tested your signup form and I DID receive the mail. So unless you (or support) fixed the issue in the meantime, seems that this could be a spam filter issue on the computers you have been testing from.

Thanks for the response navaldesign, I am not having a problem with the "Coaching" form, it's the sign up pages. Starting from here http://www.wizegirls.com/amember/,
which takes you to http://www.wizegirls.com/amember/signup.php, and then it should send a verification email, which it is not (apparently randomly). I have tested from 4 separate computers and still don't get the verification email. Can there be an issue with which engine, explorer, firefox, etc. is being used? We are at a loss, why it works for You, and it also worked for amember support, but not our clients.

Please check your spam folder, the mail IS sent, it is simply blocked by either your ISP or your email client spam filters.
