Thread: want automatic email option

I am trying to create something where people can insert their email and name in edit boxes and click a button to send me a message to get automatic emails as to when my site is updated. Is there any way to do this. I have seen it on other websites but not sure how to do this?

Please provide an example site.

You can setup a form where people submit you their emails in which you store them in a mysql database. Then you initiate a script to send every address in that database an email saying you updated the site. Check hotscripts.com for an existing one, or make one with php & mysql.
