Forum Help again......nearly there

Hi All,

Ok i have managed to download the phpbb and i have made changes to the forum, but i can't find the files to upload, i think that is what i have to do.

1. Basically i don't know how to attach it to my website and i have watched the tutuorials but ???????????? duh still stuck.

I belive that forum is automaticaly attached to your site. Did you create a folder name forum in your publuic_html when you upload forum from Fantastico? If you want to link to the forum from your site, link ussually is www.yoursite.com/forum.

How do i put a page on and what do i call it?

Would it be www.anxietynomore.co.uk/forum.html or www.anxietynomore.co.uk/forum/index.php

Not really sure how to go about with this bit.

you don't need to make a new page, just create new link on your existing page example forum and linking to www.anxietynomore.co.uk/forum/index.php or
www.anxietynomore.co.uk/forum

Many thanks for all your help, i have made a link, could someone see if it works from your end. Not quite sure if i have put it on properly. e.g is this the main page or have i put on my account????? I don't want people getting into my account. Sorry new at this.

I just checked your forum and it is there. I'm setting up a chat room also and so far I have only got the test forum. I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks for checking.

Not sure if i can help but what i did is go into admin then you edit that link. Also there is a section there where you can add a board or just leave it as one discussion like i have.

If you click management then you will see where you can edit your link and add on different sections.

I have just had alook at your site, nice by the way. When i clicked on chat rooms its link was index.php, try something like chatroom or forum.php.

Might work.

Hi, I have Phpbb2 downloaded and installed by Fantatisco, It is ok and appeared as my dormainname.com/forum. where and How do I LINK it to my web site? Do I have to go to admin or where.Public_html is empty as this is a new installation.Do I have to do somethingto have PhpBB2 stored in public-Html? How?
