Does anyone know if I can use the paypal shopping cart on my voda website and if so how do I go about doing so???

Yes you can use it. You just need to go to paypal, set up your account and add the paypal buttons to your products.

Go to the PayPal site and read up about seller and merchant tools. All the information you need will be there, along with instructions on how to use it.

After you sign into your PayPal account got to Merchant Tools >>> Key Features (on the left) >>> Shopping Cart. Once you set up your first product, copy the "Code" into Notepad and then you can use it to setup all your other products, just remember to change the "name" "code' and "price" for each.

I'd prefer to use I Shopping Cart on My Site there operation is so smooth and they collect all the money for you too. Are they compatible with Vodahost.

There are two available in Fabtastico, which is part of your control Panel (Zen and Cube). Also Cart Manager (which Bethers uses and likes a lot) and Mals-e.com (which I like) are two others that work well. osCommerce is always another choice, this is also available through Fabtastico. All perfectly compatible.

Cast my vote for Mals-e---really easy set-up and lots of options. I tried osCommerce but had difficulty with set-up.

I am using PayPal, for starters.
Like Mr. Pure, I too found OSC a bit cunfusing to setup. I may decide to go to back to it in the future.

Mal's e is great. I use them for all my merchandising clients. And the one year free is an added incentive. Very easy to link to them. Once you sign up, they send you can email detailing how to link to your shopping cart. If you still don't understand, they have a support area that discusses the different hyperlink options. All you need are the buttons on your site that links to your site. Hope this helps.

I agree about Mal's - the reason I chose Cart Manager - is they had some options Mal's did not have - it's very important to know just what you need - and find who can provide it - with a good, reliable service - and, of course, if they have the fantastic service and support of VodaHost, you know you've found a winner.

I hear you. Right now I'm in a sort of tight spot on Mal's right now. I need my shipping cost to be based on the the weight of the total order...can't seem to find an option for that. You wouldn't happened to know a code for that, would you. Anybody else? It surely will be greatly appreciated.
