Thread: my Page is to wide on others computer help me please

hi on my website everyone keeps saying it is to wide on my laptop it looks fine but when i go onto my other computer it's just a little to wide.... what is the perfect width so there is not a bottom scroll bar..... my website is www.dalejrheadquarters.com please join my mailing list and sign my guestbook.... thank a million

I know we talked about this in your site review. If you don't want anyone to have to scroll - you need to keep the page width at 800. It has nothing to do with what computer people use, but what resolution they have their screen set at. Some still use the 800x600 resolution.

Depending on what computer you built your site on...you need to keep it at the 800 as everyone suggests here on the forum. Because...everyone doesn't use the same monitor settings. 1024x768 is what I use, having a flat panel and can, but...others do not use this same setting and your site will be offset. So even though my monitor is larger I still have to keep everything at 800 for others...
