Thread: Downloading from the server

I would like to be able to download from the server some ebooks for my business that I was going to upload in order to do this. Can they be downloaded to my customers, and if so, how do I do this? Can't find anything on this anywhere. If I can download them, then what kind of an address do I give to my customers in order to do this so that they can click and it just automatically downloads. Any help would be much appreciated to this newby.

I would download the ebook, then compress it into a ZIP file, upload it to your webspace.

So when you customers click: http://www.yoursite.com/books/book1.zip it will automatically start a download.

I have a file called Current Inventory 2005.zip and when I put it into the hyperlink as www.mdico.com/Current Inventory 2005.zip it shows me an error page.

Need help with this situation.

Try making it lowercase with no spaces.

rename the file current_inventory_2005.zip

then upload to BV, change your link and then should work fine
