Thread: page text moving

When I preview (publish) my work on a page, some of the text
and shapes I have put in have moved slightly. Why is that?

Are you using BVODA, FrontPage, Dreamweaver? If you are using BV. It could be that bv is aligning your text to your page margins. Or it could be a html bug on the current page. is it doing this only on one page? or on many pages? do you have the latest bv installed. If not you may download it from the url below

It is very hard to diagnose with out actually looking at your page. Do the folllowing....
1) Publish the page
2) open a support ticket

*****, Thanks for your reply. I'm using BV 6.5, I just downloaded it a
day ago. I was trying it out and doing some stuff on one page and I
just noticed the text and a shape were moving a little bit in the publish
mode. Do I need to reset margins or something? I put in a large ellipse,
put text in the ellipse, then put a rollover button below it. The ellipse has
a black border around it and the border moves and the text moves in the
ellipse when I "publish." I will try sending it to you via your method. It
must be something very simple to fix or nobody could make pages with it.

We had small problem with the picture publisher. We have fixed this bug. If you have installed BlueVoda Prior to April 15, 2005 please uninstall it and install the updated version from the url below.

Don’t worry none of your files will be deleted during the uninstall process. This new version resolves the picture publishing issue.

Also please make sure that you have Java Virtual machine from Sun Microsystems installed on your computer. It is a free download. If you do not have it or if you are not sure if you have it please click on the url below.

I deleted BV like you said, but then the link to download the patched
version doesn't work. It takes one second on a dial-up connection to
download what must be a shortcut or something. It's only about 73
kbs. I went to Download.com but they must still have the unpatched
version since it said it was there since April 11.

So how do I get it back into my computer?

try the below urls. Maybe your computer is caching the download and not allowing a new download.
