Thread: rulers etc ???

do you know where when you open a new pge now it has the ruler on it is the settings 800x600 does this mean if i want my page 800x600 i have to stay in this ruler guide you have provided to make sure it is 800x 600 etc

Yep!

well my old pages are allways set at 800 600 but they dont fir in the new ruler thingy why is that? and are they ok to see for other people as i allways presumed ?

Your pages look fine, matie. I don't know why they don't fit in? How far out are they?

The ruler are there as a guide only, you can change them as you desire.

oh i know voda thanks, i was just wondering why if the rulers are set 800 600 on my old page, which in page properties it is always 800 600 but when it is in the ruler guide lines it is well over 800 by about half a hundred ? i know now that its ok to see for others but was just wondering why thats all, any way as long as its ok thanks mand

They could be offset because of your monitor resolution. Not everyone uses the same setting. 1024x768 is the most common but not used by all. Check and see if changing it makes a difference...Desktop any blank space/right mouse click/Properties/Settings
