Thread: templates

I am building my site, and when I view it in the preview screen there are white spaces around the template. I'd like to eliminate the spaces but don't know how to size the template to fill the whole screen, or if that's even possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

It depends on what type of template it is. You could try using a photo editing package to see if you can resize it.

Thanks for the response, I am using the free BlueVoda templates and the one I chose originally has a color band across the top and down the left side, and I try to click and drag to make the band stretch across the whole page but when I check it in preview it doesn't stretch from corner to corner. I am not sure how to use a resizer, I saw one on the BlueVoda site that is free, a pix resizer, would it be something like that?

Yes that should do the trick for you. Re-size the template to the size that you want your page to be.

PixResizer is quite easy to use.
