Hi Brian,

If you want to view it as you say then you have to buy domain2.com domain name and have it as an 'add-on' domain.

Otherwise it's a sub-domain and must be viewed as www.domain2.domain1.com You publish to public.html/domain2

Amanda,

Cheers for the response. i definetly own domain2 and i can see that when i login into the vodahost billing serivce. In the cpanel i can also see domain2 as a current add on domain. when i go to the url for domain2 i am actually getting what appears to be a 3rd party's page www.athletespages.com which seems strange. I deffinetly own it but i want http://www.biggse.com/athletespages/index.html to display as the ass on domain.

I'm confused, i hope everyone else isn't :)

Ok. Have you checked that you have the correct spelling and suffix. It's definately .com and not .co.uk or anything else?

Did you publish to the path I gave you? Did you check your CP to see if the pages you published are in the sub directory that they should be?

When did you buy it?

To help you further we need your full domain names.

Probably DNS/Name server issue. change the dns of your new domain and point it to the same dns as your main domain.

I purchased the second domain 22hours ago. this may be an issue.

the index page is deffinitly sitting in a domain2 folder under the public_html folder. When i publish i publish i publish to public_html/domain2.

regarding your suggestion Nyoman, i dont even have a login to the page shown in the tutorial, but they were both purchased through vodahost.

although you bought through vodahost, you need to set your dns and point it to them. take a look here, right now your dns is still pointed to another server
dns1.name-services.com
dns2.name-services.com
dns3.name-services.com
dns4.name-services.com
dns5.name-services.com

You have to change and point it to
ns13.vodahost.com
ns14.vodahost.com
where you main domain www.biggse.com is
