What does "Before Tag, Inside Tag, and After Tag" refer to? I have watched many video tutorials and find no references to tags. I must be missing something. HELP! Also - how do you know what size is the best size for images and where do I find this info. In Pixsize all is gives is 600x600, etc. Unless, of course, I am missing something. And since I am new at this I am sure I am. I have many pictures on my site and they load semi-slow on my computer. On a dial-up it would take forever. What does "Before Tag, Inside Tag, and After Tag" refer to? I have watched many video tutorials and find no references to tags. html code consists of the "head" (the starting part with the meta tagskeywords etc) and the "body" which is the code of main content of your page. Between head tag means inside the head, inside body means the same for the body and so on. If you work strictly with BV don't worry about them. If in the future you start adding javascript or other scripts in your pages, you will have to put them in the appropriate tag. I Also - how do you know what size is the best size for images and where do I find this info. In Pixsize all is gives is 600x600, etc. Unless, of course, I am missing something. And since I am new at this I am sure I am. PIXResizer shows the actual dimensions of your pictures, or, if you have used it before, the last used settings. Then if you want to resize them, simply select one of the standard reductions 25,33,50,75% or manually type in the size you want. 100% is there for you to be able to change format (by choosing the file type you want) without resizing.

Okay - I'm a bit confused. I want to add the Amber Alert button which I can copy from their website. When I copy and paste their script into the "button" does it matter which tag I place it in? Or have I got the whole concept wrong? Re: images. Is there a "rule of thumb size" for images on the web? Thanks for all the good info. I am new at this (I guess you figured that out-lol), and everyone has been so patient. Andrea http://forgetmenotusa.com info@forgetmenotusa.com |

Just create a html box in your page and paste the code there. Or, a script box if it is a javascript. There is no absolute rule. It depends on the final size of the image, and a good tip is to save the image at that size and view to check if the quality is good. If not, resize the original to a higher resolution, then you make it smaller inside BV
