Naval, I'sorry it was like 3am and I just typed what my computer showed, without thinking (imagine) guarder is spanish for save, my computer is setup in spanish, excuse me. I tried to save mystical_chiapas after changing the name as you said and I got message unable to safe file for it and index also.
It appears that all the files are published if I can tell by FTP list they are all there, all bvp ext.
Should I delete everything and start over. I feel really unorganised with it and nothing seems to work. It had all come together except for what you straightened out last night, the linking and everything but since the incident
with the browser using old names for files nothing works.
My files are all listed in the left side FTP but only mystical_chiapas.html on the right along with contact.html and thank_you.php.

I don't understant your problem, or much else for that fact. However, when I experiment with new things I don't totally understand I do it on a clone page. That has saved me countless hours.
If it works I simply rename the pages and go on.

When you are using/looking at the ftp screen all BV files to the left will end in bvp and all files that have been published on the right will end with html or php. This is normal.......when a page is published BV changes the ending from bvp to html in most cases.

What exactly is Not working now ?????

    david,
Evidently now my pages are all of the left except a few.
I can get them up on the web no problem, but the web browsers (FireFox,IE) refer to them by names that have been changed so the linking has come undone. If the left side is unpublished how can I get them up on web if they do not appear on right side? Make sense?

to see thing as they appear on the web you must publish. If you make a clone page you have a backup.

I have taken it apart and (well, not this pagin) but the others because I had trouble with the form .php, which Naval solved for me. I just keep getting frustrated because
it just taking so long to learn to do some of the things, I think so of it is the hurry. We have to have this ready for tours in Sept. and that is not far away. Since we already have some deposits it is a must. liked the advanced nav. button that Naval used on my form, where you find those? anyway I'm stuck. without the correct names, the linking won't work.
www.mayatabasco.com the other file is mystical_chiapas.html I think?????

george, first of all calm down....sep is a long way off...

Your home/index page is working ok (www.mayatabasco.com)
you have 3 links from your home page
    1)...mystical_chiapas.html .which is working OK
2)...olmec_world.html was not found so you need to PUBLISH this page.
3)...river_route.bvp .PUBLISH this page as normal and it will then be on
    your website as river_route.html
Change your pic link to http://mayatabasco.com/river_route.html

On your mystical_chiapas.html page your Contact us today link is ok.

On your registration form your submit button fetches up the thankyou page
BUT your back to home page BUTTON link reads
    http://www.mayatabasco.com/index.bvp

    change this to .... http://www.mayatabasco.com/

get back to us if you still have problems.......it would also be an idea to
watch the video tutorials on saving pages and linking pages again.......

    David UND alicia

Sprechen sie deutsch? wasn't aware of link on pix. will change mail address in form. The River_route.html is what I think is the problem, it was the original of the chiapas page now. how to delete. The files on the left of screen in FTP are not published right, then why are the olmec, index pages accessable????
Thanks you it is greatly appreciated.

Ya ich sprechen deutsch y Espanol tambien and English (I think)

Read what I wrote before....you do not have a River_route.html
    You have River_route.bvp

You need to PUBLISH River_route.bvp and BlueVoda will change it to
    River_route.html

It is not true to say that the files at the left of the ftp screen are NOT published......The files on the left are ON Your computer...the files on the right are on your website.

Do you know what I mean when I say you need to PUBLISH a page ??

If it not wanted then yes you can delete it from the right hand side....
The only way to get information to help some people is to ask questions
and sometimes the most basic questions gets results...
Now if you need any futher help from myself or anyone else following this thread then they will know that YOU know certain things....

No offense meant and certainly none taken.....

    Have fun.

If mayatobaso is suposed to be your Site, you maya want to put on some glasses and check your addresses. I have found that most of mya problems have been typos. The comma is next to the dot on the keyboard,
and a simple typo can have you chasing demons that don't exist.
as my mom would say,"piano piano se va lontano".

P.S. David, see you finally got your wings

As a matter of fact I do have sight problems CIRCUSPET.
I lost my right eye in vietnam and do have difficulty in seeing at some times. The possible spelling problems are surely not linked to lack of education, socially or academically. I have masters in languages (4) and in mesoamerican studies. I simply type as all do on their email, without worry and use of spell checker. If this somehow offended you, then pardon me, otherwise.....

I seems my attempt to bring levety to your crisis has penetrated some thin skin. The meat of my comunication was to check your addresses , because I too have a vision problem, and have found simple typos in my addresses a major problem. I'm sorry you fiound my advice neather helpful nor hummorous. I will gladly unsubscribe form any and all your postings.
I am just a member like you after all not a staff member. I have better things to do with my time than try and help people over stumbling blocks
    that have triped me.

Thank you, good luck, and have a nice day!

The levity was overlooked. I am somewhat thin skined. BUT
feel free to offer advice as you have in the past it is appreciated and I in turn will try not to be in such a hurry to accomplish things and to look deeper into the thoughts others express. Sincerest appologies and hope to need your help again, no doubt I will. Just give me a few minutes.
    Thanks
