Thread: backing up

hi

i downloaded os com from you guys but i wouldlike to back up files from ftp to a new folder on my hard drive just in case any thing goes wrong and then i can just replace these file but when i go to mt catalogue in ftp and try to copy it including sub dir it times out after 10 mis or so and says reconnect .

am i doing something wrong .do i save the catalogue file and its sub dir from ftp? why does it keep timing out but also the copy box still stays active while the ftp closes. weird

I only have WIFI and I see this a lot so Now I try to upload or download just a few file a a time and then check the file sizes as I go along.....

Boring......but it gets the job done.

I have also noticed that its easier at different times of the day or night and also how many are connected at the same time.....
