    Exclamation My User ID and Password being rejected

    I have been trying to get a ticket for customer support since yesterday. I know that my user ID and password is correct, but it keeps kicking me out with and error message (User name or password incorrect) I have not changed anything, and I even got them to email me the correct password again. I know that I am not making any mistakes in typing. What can I do? I really need help in getting my site up an going.

    Check that your IP No is correct as if this has changed for whatever reason your username/password will be rejected.

    Your IP Nos are also in the welcome email........and in the dropdown box when you try to publish.

    On my letter, It shows my IP Address, it is a number, but that is the only place I see IP at on the letter. I did get a temp on everything, Is this the letter you are talking about?

    How long ago did you receive your welcome email ?

    Your welcome email gives you information about your Cpanel username and password and also a list of your IP addresses (normally 2 different numbers)

    when you go to publish you should see some Numbers when its asking you for your username and password.

    as david said when you go to publish there is a drop down box ( it did it to me) there is ip addresses in there do they match any set of numbers you have in email? chose it if it matches and publish oh and tick save this info box so you dont have to keep typing it in

    I received this email on the 12th of this mo. Is it the welcome email? Also, when I get to the place to put in my name and password, there is no drop down box. Just the regular old sign in and pass word. I haven't been able to get my site up yet. There are still too many problems in it. My old training says to get it right the first time. So, when I preview, I am not there yet.

    I really apreciate your help, but I believe we are talking about two different areas. I have not tried to publish, and I have been into my control pannel, and even have it remembered so I don't have to type into it all the time. I am having trouble signing into the customer support place. I haven't even gotten far enough to be able to try to publish. I am sure I will have a different set of problems there, (only if I don't follow it right). I hope I don't have to have help then. But you have been really helpful for when I get there. I have sent a ticket, and am waiting a reply.

    Cant see the email from here, but dont publish it here as it may contain your own private data.
    If you want to email me goto any of the forms or sites listed below my name.

    You cannot see if everything is working ok when you preview, but if you publish now and again you should get some good feedback visually....

    You dont have to tell anyone your Website address yet so its pretty private.

    You do not need to sign in to customer support, just send a email
    to support@vodahost.com and it will be piped into the help desk
    and it will create you a ticket.
