Default How to insert text with transparent background?

    Hi,
There is a graphic on my template header. I inserted texts over the template header and it looks fine. However, after preview in browser, it show the white background behind my texts. I do not want any background behind the entered texts. How I can set the background to transparent? Thanks in advance.

You would have to use a photo edit program and save it as a gif with a transparent back ground.

Post a url so we can have a look.

Another option is to have the text background the same color as the background color, if this changes you can go the transparent route!

Thank you Andy128 and Bruce for your help. The index page is far from being completed. The url is libidusexpress.com. I am not sure if you will see it. The background color is from a template which has no solid one color so it's imposible for me to create the background with the same color. Thanks again.

    Hi,
I have done what I think you are trying to do.
I have created a textbox with background set to automatic(the default).
Set the text to 'bring to front'
Then placed the text over an image and a page backround image.
There is no white box behind the text in either case.
    Regards,
