Thread: How do I make a download link?

I want to be able to e-mail a link to a specific client so they can download a music file from my site after payment. This is my own music. How do I do that?

I'm kinda taking a shot in the dark, I am new to BlueVoda myself. But you should be able to upload the music file to your site-in a specific place that only you and your client can reach. (Meaning you do not have any other links to the page-and it can only be reached via the link you provide). Then email your client the link, once they've downloaded it, remove the download from the page. You can then keep the hidden page up so that you can use it for future downloads for specific persons.

Yes, that makes sense. Now, for the reverse, any idea how I can get the client to upload music to my site?
