Hi Paul here from New Zealand.

Having trouble connecting to my domain I recently purchased with Vodahost
northpointmusic.net (74.52.42.242)

I try to connect through BlueFTP and get
"attempt to connect to FTP Server failed"

Can't connect to my CP either.

I've checked the username and password a hundred times.
Have been in contact with vodahost support and the guy tells me he can log in OK using my details.

Is it a firewall thing or something in my internet connection settings???

Make sure you don't have any blank spaces after your username and password. Do you get any details with the error message? If yes, post here. Also copy/paste your username and password from the welcome email instead of typing them. Sometimes an uppercase i (I) is confused with a lower case l (l) especially with Arial Font
