Key Words

Probably a stupid question but here it goes.....

Should key words be used for other pages other than the index.html page? I heard that adding keywords in meta tags in your other pages could get you banned from the search engines. Is this true?

Keywords are ignored by the major se's but still used by some of the others. They will NOT get you banned if you use them correctly. And, as with the title and description, they should be used on all pages.

Now, do NOT spam or use black hat methods to try to move up the se's - yep, that can get you banned. Using anything correctly will not.
