Thread: Navigation Bars

Hello, Does anyone know of a way to add a nav button to all the pages at the same time, instead of going from page to page and pasting in a new nav button set up. It can be very time consuming if there are a lot of pages and the site continues to grow. Thanks for the help!

1) Create a Master page called template.
2) save it.
3) Add your nav bars, logo and all the other common elements that are
shared between page to your templates page.
4) Evertime u want to create a new page just rename your template
page. It already has everthing on it.

Hello, and thanks for the reply! I have template pages set up and I do change the menu bar when anything is added anew. However, is there a way that all nav bars on previously published pages can be updated without going to each page and pasting in the new set of nav bars? Thanks!

Nope, you have to do them on each individual page.

All I have done is set one up and then copy paste, publish through the site

* make sure the copy pasted works on one page 1st, doesn't always work( never had the problem myself, but some people have)
