Thread: help required please

I don't know if this was since the new server was installed but i'm having problems with my oscommerce and my shop that i'm working on is now coming up with a fatal error - register_globals disabled in php.ini please enable it!

I know that you don't give advice on oscommerce but bear with me as you'll see why i'm asking you for help

whist dealing with the oscommerce i was asked to see which version of os was installed, so i've gone to cpanel fantistico and none of the optional programs are listed on the left hand colomn so i can't check which version or uninstall / install anything.
can anyone shed any light?

If your configuration that was changed was:

register_globals=On
was changed to
register_globals=Off


please do the following:

[1] Within your account in public_html folder or the directory where the script is no longer working you may find a .htaccess. If not you may need to create a .htaccess file.
[2] Open this file up or create it and add:

php_value register_globals 1

Also please apply this patch:
