Thread: yahoo search registration help

I was trying to register my site in yahoo. It asks for a key to be loaded which they provided.
The instructions say upload the key to the root level of your site directory. The expected path is
http://www.thetradesjournal.com/y xxxx.html

Can anyone explain how to do this?

I have done the same, I had to open the index page go to view-page html and copy and paste the script where it tells you to then publish again. or you can go into your control panel- web pages open the file, go to edit the file and copy and paste in there

Your root is your public_html folder
