Has your website been submitted to Google?
Have you allowed 6-8 week after submission for indexing?

That's a good first step, but don't expect overnight results, as it takes time for the search engines to find you. Think of it as when you were a kid looking forward to Christmas - you didn't think that day would ever get here, but remember how happy you were when it finally did? It was worth the wait, wasn't it?
