Thread: Page description??

Hi all, I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer.

A question: when google brings up its page with a description of the web page, does it take that description from the page description all the time or does it pull up text relating to the search.

I am looking at google and how it describes my pages from a searching point of view and have realised that how it describes the page could be better, attract more visitors.

Hi me again,

I have just put some keywords into google, found two of my sites, one description is from some bold text on a web site, the other site/page description is taken directly from the page description in the page properties!

I didn't look at the link - but just to add my 2 cents - Google can choose to use anything they want in the description :)
